- Use so with an adjective or adverb and that to show the result of a situation.so + adjective/adverb + that-It's so cold that no one wants to go outside today.You can also use so...that with a quantifier* (much, many, few, little) and a noun.so + quantifier + noun + that-Jack ate so much pizza that he got a stomach ache.
