Passive Voice: Present and Past
- Passive voice always uses a form of the verb be. In present tense, this includes am, is, and are. In past tense, this includes was and were.subject + be* + past participle-Hot drinks are offered in three sizes.-The first Starbucks was opened in 1971.*Remember! The subject and verb must always agree in number (singular or plural).

I am told I look like Johnny Depp. English is spoken all over the world. The castle was built in 1343. The packages were delivered to the wrong address. - Be careful! Only change the be verb in passive voice. Do not change the past participle!
