• Be careful! Many adjectives have -ed and -ing endings.

  Don't get them confused.

  
  

  She was bored in math class.

  Math class was really boring.

  
  

  You can also use them in the same sentence.

  She was bored because of the boring math class.

• amaze	That concert was so amazing!	I was amazed by the singer's talent.
  frighten	A car accident is a frightening experience.	She was frightened during the car accident.
  terrify	I saw a giant, terrifying spider in my closet.	I am terrified of spiders. They are so scary!
  interest	Paris is an interesting city with lots of history.	They are interested in the history of Paris.

• Remember! Adjectives with -ed express emotions, and adjectives with -ing cause emotions.
