- Present perfect continuous is a tense that connects the past and the present (now).There are two main uses for present perfect continuous:1. Continuing actions

Recent actions with results in the presentFor present perfect continuous, use the present perfect* form of verb 'be' and a present participle.have/has been + present participle-I have been waiting all day.-She has been waiting all day. - Contractions: Form contractions with the subject and have/has in present perfect continuous.-I have been waiting all day. > I've been waiting all day.-She has been waiting all day. > She's been waiting all day.
- *Remember! Present perfect is have/has and a past participle. The past participle of verb 'be' is been.
