- Embedded information questions use a question word. Do not use question word order in embedded questions. Use normal word order (wh-word + subject + verb).Regular question: Where can I recycle glass bottles?Embedded question: Do you know where I can recycle glass bottles?If an information question contains a wh-word and do, remove do from the embedded question.-Regular question: Where does she live?-Embedded question: Can you tell me where she lives?
