  The teacher said that our kids were playing over there.

  this* > that	He said, "I like this t-shirt."	He told me that he liked that t-shirt. He told me that he liked the t-shirt.
  here > there	She said, "'The food is over here."	She said the food was over there.

• *Be careful! There are two options for this in indirect speech when it functions as an adjective.
