  The form for infinitives is: to + base verb 

  to + play = to play
  

  
  

  Use an infinitive as the object of a sentence after some verbs. Common verbs with infinitives are want, hope, agree, and plan.

  
  

  Subject + verb + infinitive

• I want to go to college next year.*	I hope to graduate from college this summer.
  I didn't agree to pay this much for a math book.	I plan to visit the Great Wall of China someday.
